Why not just use Notes, Notion or Pinterest?

Each of those tools has its own logic. Mes Trouvailles grew out of a different need: drop in a link, a video or an idea in seconds, then find it again easily, without having to build a complex system.

Can I get my data back out?

Yes. The app offers a full backup, a readable text export and a CSV export. Your data stays accessible outside the app.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. On iPhone, open Mes Trouvailles in Safari and add it to your Home Screen to use it like an app. On Android and on a computer, you can also install it from a compatible browser.

Can I add images on the Free plan?

Yes. The Free plan lets you add images to your ideas, within the included storage quota. The Member and Founder plans offer more space.

What is the Founder plan?

It’s a special lifetime plan, available in limited numbers at launch, for the first people who want to back the project from day one. The details and price are shown in the app once you sign up.

Can I share finds with other people?

Yes. Shared spaces let you gather finds for a project, a team or a family, while keeping your personal space separate.

How it started

I built the app I needed myself

Like a lot of people, I was keeping things all over the place: bookmarks in my browser, links in my messages, ideas in Notes, videos on YouTube and screenshots on my phone.

Saving them was never the problem. The problem came later, when I wanted to find them again. With videos it was even more frustrating: I remembered that one part had caught my attention, but not whether it was at 3 minutes, 20 minutes or near the end.

I didn’t want to spend my time building folders or maintaining a perfect system. I just wanted to save something in a few seconds, note why it mattered to me, and find it easily the day I needed it.

That very concrete need is why I created Mes Trouvailles.
